Season 1 had some really great episodes Tom, that's for sure.

MLP:FiM: I watched episodes 16-20 last night. While I'm not to crazy for #18 - The Show Stoppers, the rest were all quite good stuff.

For a refresher of the other 4:

#16 - Sonic Rainboom - It's quite interesting how important Rainbow Dash's Sonic Rainbow plays in even later seasons of the show. Bonus points for Rarity's "wings" from Twilight's spell!

#17 - The Stare Master - Fluttershy's Stare used on creatures is in itself enough said.

#19 - A Dog and Pony Show - Spike trying to save Rarity, Rarity driving the Diamond Dogs crazy, and Rarity's epic whining, what a combination that works!

#20 - Green Isn't Your Color - Pinkie Promises driving Twilight crazy while Pinkie Pie shows up in random places to continually remind Twilight to remain silent, Photo Finish's "THE MAGICS", and Rarity & Fluttershy both falsely believing that what's happening to each other is "for the best", yeah, there's a lot going on here!

Well, I got around to Episode 9 and 10 last night in that rewatch. Zecora's first appearance, Poison Joke, Apple Bloom's* first major role & Parasprites, what a combination!

*Because Apple Bloom does show up for several seconds in the very first episode, with a small speaking role in the very beginning, and both Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo are just kind of "there" at the end of that first episode.

NFL Playoffs: Those last two games yesterday were very much the polar opposites of each other. Buffalo vs. Jacksonville was your classic defensive struggle, capped off by one lone touchdown to give Jacksonville the edge, and Carolina vs. New Orleans was your passing yardage shootout with Drew Brees edging out Cam Newton by posting 5 more points on the board to win it.

Time to look forward to the Divisional Playoffs next week with the remaining 8 teams.

Dark Souls II: All I have left is one boss in NG+1, and I can just about wrap the whole run up.

NFL Playoffs: Tennessee really pulled quite the upset against Kansas City once the second half rolled around. Usually being down 3-21, that leaves a team with a slim chance of winning, but I was quite surprised when they scored 19 straight, and their defense was up to the task at holding them to no points for the entire second half. Congrats to the Tennessee Titans at coming away with a 22-21 win in game one.

In the second game, Los Angeles definitely had their chance to come back, after only being down 10-13 against Atlanta, so I figured they were going to have a better second half, but, making too many turnovers on receiving kickoffs and punt returns was easily their downfall.

Happy New Year's Eve Tom, to think that the last day of 2017 is now, just where does the time go, right?

Dark Souls II: I only have several bosses left in the NG+1 run of the game, and this time, I'm confident I should be able to face the special final boss Aldia, as I'm pretty sure I did all of the required stuff to unlock it without getting locked out of the fight. I found out the hard way that is possible to actually miss the boss if you do not complete certain events in a particular order.

My next target right now though, is the optional boss Royal Rat Authority, a boss that is either not too bad, or can become a total pain if the first 15 seconds of the battle don't go as planned.
